PostHog integration

Connect PostHog and put product analytics next to the rest of your business data.

Flitch is an AI BI tool that connects to PostHog and turns your data into shareable dashboards. Bring your PostHog events, sessions, persons, and error tracking issues into Flitch, alongside insights, feature flags, experiments, and surveys. Build dashboards that answer product questions with revenue, support, and sales data in the same view. It reads 16 PostHog objects, including Events (last 30 days), Sessions (last 30 days) and Exceptions (last 30 days).

  • Sign in with PostHog or use a personal API key
  • Events and sessions from the last 30 days, flattened into columns
  • Persons, insights, feature flags, experiments, surveys, and error tracking
  • US and EU Cloud
  • Schedule background refresh

PostHog integration FAQ

What does Flitch import from PostHog?

Events and sessions from the last 30 days, plus persons, insights, dashboards, cohorts, feature flags, experiments, surveys, session recordings, error tracking issues, annotations, actions, and event and property definitions. Each becomes its own dataset.

How do events arrive, with properties or as columns?

As columns. Each event carries its timestamp, name, distinct ID, session ID, URL, path, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, and country, so charts can group by them directly.

Do I sign in or use an API key?

Either. Sign in with PostHog, or create a personal API key limited to one project with read access. Both connect to the project ID you enter, on US or EU Cloud.

Can I combine PostHog with revenue or CRM data?

Yes. That is the main reason to bring it into Flitch. Put product usage next to Stripe revenue, HubSpot deals, or support tickets and ask for a dashboard across them.

Does Flitch change anything in PostHog?

No. The connection only reads. Flitch never creates, edits, or deletes events, flags, or insights. A scheduled refresh keeps dashboards current.

Does Flitch copy my PostHog data?

Only the objects you choose. PostHog is an API rather than a database Flitch can query in place, so those objects are pulled on your refresh schedule and stored as datasets. Nothing else is taken, and aggregation still happens in SQL against your data model, so a figure means the same thing on every dashboard built from it. Connect a database instead and Flitch queries it directly with no copy at all.
